Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Medical Office Marketing Specialist to join our team in a part-time role (20-29 hours per week). The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, organization, and a passion for health and wellness to the position, supporting the growth and reputation of our new and upcoming medical office. This individual will play a key role in driving community outreach, creating engaging social media content, and ensuring patient retention strategies are in place. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing a variety of marketing activities, including basic graphic design, event planning, and communication campaigns. We are looking for someone who is not only creative and fun but also well-versed in medical office operations and terminology. Flexibility is essential, as occasional weekend work may be required for events or special projects.

Social Media Content Creation & Management (25%)

Develop and maintain an engaging presence on social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Create and schedule posts that align with the office’s brand and health-related services.
Monitor trends, respond to comments/messages, and analyze social media metrics.
Graphic Design (15%)

Create basic marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and digital graphics to support campaigns, events, and office promotions.
Design content that is visually appealing and communicates key health and wellness messages.
Community Outreach & Event Planning (20%)

Coordinate and promote community health events, open houses, or partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
Attend or represent the medical office at community events, health fairs, and networking opportunities
Patient Retention & Engagement (15%)

Develop and implement patient retention strategies through email marketing, follow-up communication, and loyalty programs.
Manage newsletters, surveys, and patient feedback processes.
Brand Development & Strategy (10%)

Collaborate with the management team to ensure cohesive branding and marketing strategies that align with the office’s mission and values.
Research market trends and opportunities for brand growth within the healthcare sector.
Website & Online Presence Management (5%)

Oversee website content updates, ensuring information is accurate and aligned with current campaigns and services.
Work with web developers when needed to improve functionality and SEO performance.
Website maintenance and design (5%)

Collaborate with the marketing team to execute successful marketing campaigns, maintain the company website, and create content for various mediums.
Administrative Support & Reporting (5%)

Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, social media growth, and patient engagement initiatives.
Maintain organized marketing calendars and assist in scheduling marketing activities.
Qualifications:

HS Diploma or equivalent
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Extensive experience using Facebook, Instagram, TikTok
Experience creating strong, engaging content
High attention to detail, demonstrated ability to successfully manage, organize and prioritize multiple tasks within designated timeframes
Excellent interpersonal skills,ability to work and interact with all kinds of people- externally with community and internally with team members and other departments
Experience with photography, video editing, graphic and web design
Self-motivated and comfortable taking initiative
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Visual Communication Design or related field
Experience working in the medical office
Experience using Wix
Experience with Canva design
An understanding of SEO best practices
Back-up receptionist
Bilingual
Experience working in a medical office
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 29 per week
