Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a part-time basis. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist in delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring a safe and effective rehabilitation process. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, team-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional therapy services.
Duties
Assist the Physical Therapist in executing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Instruct and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility activities.
Administer manual therapy techniques, modalities, and therapeutic interventions as directed.
Observe and document patient progress, communicating effectively with the Physical Therapist.
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements including HIPAA and Medicare guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and in working order.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and patient follow-ups as needed.
Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
Education
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
Certifications/Licenses:
Current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Washington.
Valid CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
Knowledge of evidence-based therapy techniques and rehabilitation strategies.
Experience in sports rehabilitation, orthopedic, or neurological therapy.
Bilingual (Spanish preferred)

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 29 per week
