Other benefits of an aquatic fitness / swimming pool workout are:
The average thirty-minute swimming pool workout burns approximately 300 calories. Water aerobics and swimming are great ways to increase cardio endurance. When in cooler water, the blood moves through the body at a faster rate to warm it up. When coupled with an aerobic program the result is an improved cardiovascular performance over time.
Experience the power of the pool in our Aqua Strong small group training. High intensity interval training paired up with specially designed drag resistance equipment can give you powerful athletic fitness gains. Aquatic training in the low-impact pool environment means you get the same results as land based training while protecting your joints, improving your circulation and reducing swelling. Want to improve your cardiovascular fitness, increase your respiratory endurance and get increased muscle strength and toning? Grab your friends and join Aqua Strong.
