Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our Jungle Gym Preschool team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early learning experiences of children aged 3 to 5 years, utilizing various teaching methods.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages children's curiosity and creativity.
Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain an orderly learning space.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
Assess children's developmental milestones and provide feedback to parents on their growth.
Incorporate basic math concepts into daily activities to enhance children's understanding of numbers and patterns.
Collaborate with other educators and specialists to support children with special education needs or those requiring additional assistance.
Organize activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development in alignment with child welfare standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and daycare facilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
Experience in childcare settings, particularly with toddlers or preschool-aged children.
Knowledge of early intervention techniques and child welfare practices.
Familiarity with Montessori methods is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering positive relationships with students.
Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
Certification in First Aid/CPR is desirable.

Pay: $16.66 - $18.00 per hour
