Quisto Oucharek, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Quisto Oucharek was born in the vicinity of Cape Town, South Africa, and later moved to Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. His upbringing continued in the Tri-Cities area after his family relocated during his high school years.
During high school, Quisto participated in the Columbia Basin College's running start program. He completed his education with a Bachelor of Health Science degree from Walla Walla University in 2008, followed by a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University in 2012.
His professional focus encompasses diverse treatments for musculoskeletal, neurological, and congenital conditions, catering to a wide range of ages from pediatric to geriatric patients.
Outside his professional commitments, Quisto's interests include spending time with family and engaging in activities such as rock climbing, hockey, mountain biking, tennis, badminton, and disc golf.
Within his professional scope, Quisto specializes in orthopedic and balance conditions, particularly those related to the vestibular system. This specialization extends to addressing issues like dizziness, vertigo, and post-concussion symptoms.
Quisto's motivation for pursuing physical therapy is rooted in personal experiences. His own encounters with injuries, including concussions, chronic pain, and surgical interventions, have fostered a deep appreciation for the impact of physical therapy in restoring functional abilities and enhancing overall quality of life.
